Bungeoppang is a very popular street snack in Korea during the winter. Bungeoppang originated from the Japanese Domippang, and many versions exist, such as Bungeoppang and Ingeoppang.

붕어빵 (Bung Eo Ppang), a national winter snack, seems to have been rapidly disappearing from the streets since last year.
He said that although the possibility of complaints being filed for setting up a street vendor in front of his store is low, he still feels anxious about who might report him and when.
Mr. B said, "Usually if there is a bakery near a 붕어빵 (Bung Eo Ppang) street vendor, the owner of the bakery files a complaint," and "These days, reports are coming in frequently from all over the place, so other grandmothers who sell bungeoppang around him sometimes close up their stalls and take their bread home every evening to avoid being reported."
